Summer Solstice at Stonehenge 2019
English Heritage are again expected to provide “Managed Open Access” for around 20,000 people to Stonehenge for the Summer Solstice.
Access
The access in 2018 was as follows, expect similar in 2019:-
- The Solstice car park opens at 7pm on 20th June, with last access at 6am the following morning. The car park is to be vacated by midday.
- Access to the stones permitted from 7pm 20th June. Sunset is at 9.26pm.
- Sunrise is at 4.52am. The Stonehenge monument field closes at 8am.
